Nendran Bananas are a variety of banana, much bigger in size than the regular robusta bananas. The flesh is firmer, silkier and sweeter. It's normal for Nendran Banana to turn black/blackish through the process of ripening. They have a distinct neck with thick green skin which turns buff yellow on ripening and with a pale yellow flesh.
